Willy Ronis was born in Paris on August 14, 1910. Ronis learned photography with his father in the family portrait studio, but he was fascinated by the music and wanted to become a composer. He soon left his main passion apart and decided to work in a photo agency, with other french photographers. He wast the first french photographer to work for Life Magazine and he received several awards, medals and distinctions for his amazing work.
