Punk Childhood: When I Grow Up by Andy Fairhurst

In When I Grow Up by Andy Fairhurst, children seem to harbor such high aspirations for their adult age as becoming the Joker or the Bane! It’s all tongue-in-cheek and humorous, so there is no need for the parents out there to get freaked out; after all, as we all may remember from our own childhood days, kids are often more active in their imaginations than we give them credit for. There’s also a playful, impish streak to most kids, so it shouldn’t surprise you that the British illustrator, based in North Wales, has chosen to depict them as such. Fairhurst also paints digitally and professes his liking for art with a dark tinge to it.
