Today is all about Tony photography: the young, accomplished artist based in Dandong and born there, too, has a wonderful sense of grace. Composition, color and artistry all contribute to his personal style, whether he’s shooting portraits or full-body shots, in full color or in monochrome. He has received well-deserved praise for the soft color palettes he makes use of, as well as for his poetic vision, which manages to be at once striking and discreet. According to his artist’s bio, “his photographic aesthetic is distinctive; rich colors and impeccable sense of details dominate the scene, combined with raw and cinematic black and white. From natural landscape to tiny hotel rooms, he makes them all appear as if they are sets which have been specifically constructed for the shoot taking place.” He is a Fine Arts graduate with a degree awarded to him in Shenyang.
